On June, 24, the Georgia Southern University Center for Educational Leadership and First District RESA teams collaborated to host the first annual Summer Leadership Academy.  The target audience included 150+ FDRESA school system educational leaders for the purpose of providing a leadership-focused presentation of Common Core Georgia Performance Standards and Teacher/Leader Keys Effectiveness Systems.  The presentations consisted of break-out sessions for elementary, middle, and high school administrators. The Educational Leadership Department of Georgia Southern’s College of Education and First District RESA look forward future collaborations that focus on building leadership capacity within local systems for the purpose of increasing student achievement.   Dr. Whit  Myers (Right) – FDRESA Executive Director Myers & Farmer
